Day 15 of 15
Ourbit Master AI — Day 15: Capstone: Demonstrate Practical AI Mastery
Day 15 — Capstone: Demonstrate Practical AI Mastery
Purpose: Demonstrate integrated practical judgment, explain trade-offs, verify outputs and present evidence.
Source/build status: Integration and assessment day.
Learning outcomes
- Demonstrate integrated use of the programme's methods on a realistic problem.
- Produce a traceable evidence portfolio rather than only a polished final output.
- Explain verification, privacy/security controls, limitations and trade-offs.
- Reflect on failures and revisions as evidence of practical judgment.
Core lesson — Capstone: Demonstrate Practical AI Mastery
The capstone is evidence of applied capability across the programme. The learner must define a realistic problem, justify the AI-assisted approach, construct the workflow, preserve relevant instructions and evidence, verify important outputs, identify risks and controls, and explain trade-offs. A polished final answer without a traceable process is insufficient.
Worked example
A submission package includes: problem and intended outcome; workflow map; prompts or instructions; approved evidence sources where relevant; tool or retrieval decisions; verification record; privacy and security controls; final output; failure or limitation analysis; and a short reflection on what the learner would improve.
Teaching / video direction
Present the capstone as an evidence portfolio, not a celebratory montage. Walk through one fictional submission from problem definition to verification and reflection. State clearly that Ourbit Academy issues its own programme credential only when applicable completion requirements are met; do not imply external accreditation.
Hands-on practical exercise
- Define a realistic low-risk problem and measurable intended outcome.
- Submit the workflow map and the prompts/instructions you actually used.
- Include relevant evidence sources, retrieval/tool decisions and verification records.
- Document privacy, security, authorization and human-review controls applicable to the task.
- Present the final output alongside known limitations, failed attempts and revisions.
- Write a reflection explaining what you would change in a second implementation and why.
Knowledge check
- Why is a polished final answer insufficient evidence of mastery?
- What artifacts make an AI-assisted process traceable?
- How should failed attempts be used in a capstone?
- Why must limitations be stated explicitly?
- What programme components should appear when they are relevant to the chosen problem?
- What must be completed before an Ourbit Academy programme credential can be considered under the controlled rules?
Assessment and remediation contract
The scored daily quiz uses 10 questions; 7/10 (70%) is a pass. Missed concepts map to exact lesson anchors for targeted remediation, including on a passing attempt. Attempts 1–9 below threshold return to remediation and a fresh eligible question set; an unsuccessful tenth attempt restarts the day in a new learning cycle while preserving history. The 50-question validated bank is a learner-release gate and will be scaled only after the Day 1 runtime passes acceptance.
Teaching / video script — 6–8 minute target
Open: Start with the worked scenario, not a generic definition: Solve a realistic knowledge-work problem using the methods learned across Days 1–14.
Teach: Demonstrate the method visibly: Submit the problem definition, workflow, prompts/instructions, evidence sources, verification record, risk controls, final output and reflection. Pause at the judgment point and explain why the system should not simply continue on autopilot: The capstone is evidence of applied capability, not a quiz-only exercise. Credential eligibility requires all applicable programme requirements; no accreditation is implied.
Practice bridge: Ask the learner to reproduce the method on a different low-risk example, mark the verification/control step, and explain the reason for it.
Close: Programme completion review and credential decision under controlled rules.
Production / QA notes
- Use the worked scenario as the primary visual sequence; avoid generic AI-brain imagery.
- Keep terminology vendor-neutral and define unavoidable technical terms in context.
- Do not equate fluent output with verified truth or AI assistance with autonomous authority.
- Before learner release, fact-check the final lesson and validate every scored item against explicit teaching.
